Bryan Ferry's reputation as the artiste of choice to the fashion industry was further enhanced this past weekend as he played a short but nonetheless well-received set at a party hosted by Topshop proprietor Sir Philip Green as part of the London Fashion Week celebrations. Yeah, I know, who thought you would read Bryan Ferry and Topshop in the same sentence, right?

The party, held on the top floor of swanky London restaurant The Ivy also saw two new additions to Bryan's usual retinue in the shape of fashion chain Jigsaw owner Belle Robinson's lively daughters who were poured into shimmering red dresses to provide a decorative background to the performance.
Fashion matriarch Vivienne Westwood was spotted rocking out to a set described variously as 'intimate' and 'raucous', and the impressive guest list included such notables as Zandra Rhodes, Celia Birtwell, Stephen Jones, Christian Louboutin, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.
Ferry's support for the British fashion industry is long-standing and sincere, and he's clearly the go-to guy when it comes to putting on a show for the fashionistas.
