Roxy Set Nine Shows

Roxy Music have set a handful of British dates at the end of July, including two shows at Wembley Arena.

"Flesh And Blood", their latest album, is number 2 after two weeks in the MM chart.

The band has ben remodelled for the tour after drummer Paul Thompson broke a hand in a motorbike accident - he has been replaced by Andy Newmarket. Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera and Andy McKay are joined by bassist Gary Tibbs, guitarist Neil Hubbard and keyboard player Paul Carrack.

The tour opens at Brighton Conference Centre on July 23, followed by Birmingham Odeon (24 and 25), Manchester Apollo (26 and Wembley Arena (August 1 and 2).

Tickets for Wembley, Birmingham and Glasgow are priced £5, £4 and £3 and Brighton and Manchester are £5 and £4. Tickets are now on sale, with Wembley seats available personally from Saturday (June 14) from the Wembley box office or by post now from Wembley Arena Roxy Box Office, Wembley, Middlesex. Cheques and postal orders are payable to Wembley Stadium Ltd.

Support group for the British shows wil be Martha and the Muffins.
