Roxy Come in For Nine

Roxy Music launch their first major tour in two years with a series of shows beginning at the Limerick Savoy Theatre on August 12.

The band, who are also performing in Europe, comprise Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay and Phil Manzanera with Neil Hubbard (guitar), Alan Spenner (bass), Andy Newmark (drums), Jimmy Maelen (percussion) and Guy Fletcher (keyboards). Chic members Fonzi Thornton, Michelle Cobbs and Tawatha Agee are on backing vocals.

Tour dates: Limerick Savoy Theatre (August 12), Dublin Royal Dublin Society (14 and 15), London Wembley Arena (September 23 and 24), Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (27), Brighton Centre (28), Glasgow Apollo (30) and Edinburgh Playhouse (October 1).

Tickets for Limerick are 9 and 8 punts, at the box office now, and for Dublin they're at 9, 8 and 7 punts, also available at the box office at the moment. Tickets for Wembley are £7.50 and £6.50 by personal application only at the box office from 9.30am on August 7 and at the same time on August 8.

Fans interested in the NEC date have to apply by postal application only, with cheques and postal orders made payable to "NEC Ltd. (Roxy Music)" and sent with an SAE to Roxy Music Concerts, National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham B40 1NT.

At both Brighton and Glasgow, tickets are £7.50, £6.50 and £5.50 by personal application to the box office from July 24 at Brighton and July 31 in Glasgow, and in Edinburgh, fans will have to pay £7.50 in a personal call to the box office from July 31.
