October the 28th sees the re-release by Capitol Records of Roxy Music's 1973 album, 'For Your Pleasure'.
The album, the last to feature Brian Eno as a member of the band, is being pressed on 180g vinyl as a limited edition.
The news will doubtless please Bryan Ferry, who has often talked of his preference for vinyl as an emotive and tactile medium (and indeed ensured that his recent albums got a vinyl release).
Only yesterday at the BMI Icon awards, Ferry was bemoaning the impersonal attitudes to selling music in the digital age: 'I liked vinyl albums with cover art. It’s like direct selling now, like marketing cardigans.'
