Bryan Ferry has once again reiterated his recent commitment to contemporary dance music by creating a chart of his current favourites at online music retailer Beatport.
Beatport is an online music store specializing in electronic dance music and culture. Artists and producers often use its facilities to create viral marketing campaigns or as a way to reach new audiences. Ferry has selected 10 of the coolest sounds around for his chart.
Bryan Ferry's listing includes Simian Mobile Disco's dark techno remix of his own collaboration with DJ Hell - 'U Can Dance' - as well as the 'authorised' Roxy Music remixes by Cinnamon Chasers.
Other producers such as Lindstrom, DFA’s Still Going, Norway’s Todd Terje, and London’s Padded Cell are featured, as well as another supposed Ferry collaborator, Trentmoller.
Perhaps more surprising inclusions are Klang’s electro rockers Alter Ego and the low-profile Spanish breakbeat producer Digital Base.

Little doubt now that Ferry is returning to the computers and sequencers he discarded after the failure of 1994's Mamouna.
