Roxy Music Disband In the Summer of 1983, apparently for good. However, after an 18 year layoff, in January 2001 the group announce a final 50 date World tour to take place in the summer of 2001. |

Siren. The 1975 Siren tour band was augmented with female backing singers, The Sirens |

Manifesto. Paul Carrack played on Manifesto, David Skinner went on the road. Tibbs playing was supplemented by Alan Spenner. |

Flesh and Blood. The sacking of Thompson broke a line running back to before the first album. Schwartzberg, Newmark and Simon Phillips shared drumming duties from then on with Newmark the usual tour sticksman. Neil Hubbard becomes a regular supplemental guitarist. After Tibbs leaves to join Adam and the Ants, Spenner and Neil Jason share the bass spot. |

Avalon. Ferry plays all keyboards on the album, Guy Fletcher on the road. Yannick Etienne plays an unforgettable role on the track Avalon. The subsequent tours involve Spenner, Hubbard, Newmark, Jimmy Maelen on percussion, and three backing singers - Fonzi Thornton, Michelle Cobbs, and Tawatha Agee. |
| World Tour 2001. With Fletcher, Newmark and Hubbard no longer on the scene, and both Alan Spenner and Jimmy Maelen having sadly died in the meantime, Roxy return with Ferry, Mackay and Manzanera augmented by the returning Paul Thompson on drums and legendary Ferry solo sidesman Chris Spedding on guitar. Additionally the band is extended by solo players Zev Katz on bass, Colin Good on keyboards, Julia Thornton on percussion and Lucy Wilkins on violin/keyboards from the previous year's solo Ferry tour. Backing singers Sarah Brown and Yanick Etienne complete the line-up. | |
