Details

The third single from Boys and Girls was an interesting one for collectors. It wasn't just the exquisite title track which Ferry described as his favourite song from an album he described as his "meisterwerk" but more of interest for the three tracks which appeared in support of the single. Crazy Love, a cover of a Van Morrison track, Feel The Need, the old Detroit Emeralds song, and Broken Wings, a self-penned number, were all recorded during the Bride Stripped Bare sessions of 1977, an album originally intended as a double album. Having received an unspecified amount of finishing in 1981, they belatedly appeared here.
