Details

Ferry's 1988 single Kiss and Tell was widely interpreted as a riposte to his former fiancee Jerry Hall's tell-all book 'Tall Tales' (which castigated him) the previous year. Backed by a strong video, the song reached the Top 40 in the USA, and provided him with not only his biggest Stateside hit, but the only one that reached a higher position than in the UK, where it stalled at No.41.
