About This Release
"The b-side reminds me of an amped up 16 Horsepower without quite so much Twin Peaks running through the sound." - Network Audio Bits Electronic Magazine
Vancouver-based band Superconductor, led by singer Carl Newman, and originally boasting one of the most bizarre line-ups on record (six guitars, two basses, drums) played an equally bizarre brand of melodic hard rock. The catchy single Strip Oracle announced a new band, trimmed down to seven members.
