About This Release

Abba vocalist Frida was recording her solo album 'Something's Going On' with producer Phil Collins in 1982 when Collins contacted Bryan Ferry looking for material. Ferry provided the song 'The Way You Do'.

The track originates from Roxy Music's 'Flesh and Blood' sessions but sadly only a demo version of the song was ever recorded by them. As an unfinished track with only a guide vocal, it is not in a version which could be released by either Bryan or Roxy Music in the future.
