This is the Holy Grail of Roxy Music releases as, although a catalogue number and track listing was publicised, the release was pulled before distribution. Although demo's may exist, no copy of this single is known of, and it is unlikely any were ever pressed. It was intended to appear during Roxy Music's 2 year hiatus. It is said that War Brides was never recorded by Roxy, but a version later appeared as part of Andy Mackay's 'Rock Follies' TV soundtrack project.
