Details |
If youre very lucky you might be on our next album which is a live album being recorded here tonight and last night. So there! (Bryan Ferry, Newcastle
City Hall, 28 October 1974). The Newcastle 1974 concert is the same show that is used on part of the Viva! album, in particular Out Of The Blue and Do The Strand (with Ferrys dedication of Eskimos and Geordies - Geordies are residents of Ferry's hometown of Newcastle). However, upon comparison the versions that appear on Viva! were touched-up in the studio, Jobsons violin solo on Out Of The Blue being an obvious example. The other songs from this show demonstrate that Roxy were the strongest they had ever been (or ever would be) as a live band. The album also features tracks from officially released singles, including Ferrys solo reworking of Re-Make/Re-Model, plus the BBC session version of Pyjamarama. |
