Details

There has been a lot of confusion over this recording down the years. The sleeve claims it was recorded on the 7th July 1979, whereas other sources claim it is a rehearsal tape. It is in fact from a special performance recorded for Australian TV in May 1977 whilst on tour down under. Ferry and his band assembled in a TV studio, without an audience, and performed a truncated set for the cameras. It was transmitted on Channel 7 in July 1977

This pressing seems to have emerged from Germany, with an Italian cover and is on clear vinyl. A nice touch is that photo reproduction on the cover is quoted as being by Interpol (Paris), Scotland Yard (London) and BKA (Wiesbadan)

There is a further appalling inaccuracy on the sleeve. Bryan Ferry's name is misspelled as "Brian"
